Structure
The General Management of the project is in charge of LEIA (Spain).
The management and co-ordination will have the following task:
- Creation of a steering committee and participation in a common Advisory Board.
- Coordination and target controlling.
- Management
- Organisation of meetings, workshops and conferences
The main entities involved within the project management structure are:
- The Steering Committee
- The Advisory Board
The Steering Committee consists of one representative from each participant. This Steering Committee will be led by the project Co-ordinator. The Steering Committee will take responsibility for:
- Overall strategic & managerial decisions and
- Monitoring the quality of the project outputs and tasks.
- Technical development of the strategic and managerial decisions
The Advisory Board will comprise a restricted panel of experts and scientists. The progress of the project, as well as the plans for activities in the next period in the project will be discussed once a year with the Advisory Board.
The Advisory Board for a number of projects running in parallel (TESTNET, PROMOTE, EURODEMO and AIRTV) will be common to all of them in order to guarantee a maximum integration of the different projects and to keep control of the costs involved.
